Ladeira de Santa Teresa 45 /101, Rio de Janeiro
Global Rio de Janeiro is a wonderful, family owned facility in the heart of the city. It's very close to popular destinations such as Copacabana and Ipanema which can be easily reached in not too much time. It's also only a five minute walk from the most popular night life areas in the city, places like Lapa, where there is no shortage of clubs and discos. You're a short walk from both a subway station and tramway stop, so the entire city is easily accessible and not confusing to access at all.

There are a range of room types. You can stay in a private room for one or two people, or there are rooms that accommodation up to six people if you are traveling in a larger group. The rooms are quite large and open, giving them a very airy and fresh feel. On top of the facility there is a terrace that provides a panoramic view of the surrounding area. You can see the popular Lapa district and you can see the downtown skyline as well.

The hotel is owned by a lovely Brazilian couple and it's a great locally owned place to stay if you're looking for an authentic experience. It's a peaceful and quiet hotel and is not a party place, but you are in close proximity to some of the city's best nightlife.

Amenities that are provided to guests free of charge include a complimentary breakfast, luggage storage, wifi, and tours.
