They offer free rental surfboards and bodyboards with your stay! And the nightly activities such as wine night and pizza night help everyone have fun, meet other guests, and enjoy their stay.

The hostel is fairly new, and everything is modern and clean. The communal kitchen is spacious, as are the common areas. They even have a nice little pool and sun deck with lounge chairs.

Free breakfast starts the nice list of amenities which also include free parking and free Wi-Fi. Plus, they offer bike rental, laundry, lockers, a BBQ, steam room, tour booking, luggage storage, and more.

Previous guests leaving reviews give them high marks for the friendliness of the staff, nightly activities, and cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms.

Just a short walk to the beach, the Halse Lodge (a YHA member) is situated on several beautiful acres of land (the birds will greet you!) and resides in a refurbished historic guesthouse building. The location is one of the main attractions of this hostel, but they have plenty of other reasons to stay as well. This is a fairly large hostel with lots of great common areas, a terrific outdoor patio, and more. They offer free surfboard and bodyboard rentals for guests, too!

Private rooms and dorms are available in the main building, and they have a separate building as well for even more space. Rooms and bathrooms are kept clean and are modern and comfortable.

They offer free parking, a great communal kitchen, an onsite bar and restaurant, plenty of common areas, laundry, TVs, Wi-Fi and internet, a pool table and foosball table, and more.

Reviewers give them high marks for the friendly staff, great food options, amazing location, and charming atmosphere.

This self-described "hippy-style haven" is the closest hostel to Sunshine Beach. The atmosphere here is terrific for anyone looking to meet new people, chill out, be social, and have a great time at the beach. They are also close to shopping, restaurants, and the national park.

This family-run hostel was started by former travelers, and they have decorated the place with art and mementos from all around the world. They offer a variety of room types from full apartments with kitchens, to private ensuite rooms, to multi-bunk apartment-style dorms. There is a room for everyone's budget, and everything is very nicely furnished.

Free surfboards and body boards, free Wi-Fi and internet, a shuttle bus, a swimming pool, great common areas, laundry, parking, tour booking, a pool table, and more. Check out the photos!
