A boutique, cozy hostel

This award-winning hostel in Hobart is close to the Harbor as well as shops and restaurants and everything else in town. The owners live on site and take great care of this hostel and the guests that come to stay in it. This smaller and cozy hostel has a lot to offer. The atmosphere is more like a boutique hostel or bed and breakfast with an old-fashioned decorative style, elegant furniture, artwork, and furnishings, and luxury appointments. Even when you climb into your bunk beds, you'll have thoughts of the Queen.

Private rooms and dorms are available in different sizes from Queen beds down to multi-bunk rooms. A female-only dorm option is also on the list. All rooms have bathroom facilities, and everything is kept very clean and nice. The common room is comfortable, and the kitchen is modern and well stocked. The outdoor patio and deck (with BBQ) provide a very nice spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors with your fellow travelers.

Other amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry, hotel-style linens and duvets, tour booking and travel advice, free parking, and more.

With consistently high marks from guests leaving reviews, this hostel (or palace?) gets rave reviews for everything, especially the friendly owners and staff. One reviewer even described it as an "Awesome little mansion."
