Weird Food?

Daniel at Uncornered Market just posted about some of the weirdest and grossest foods he’s ever eaten while traveling. The list is quite, um…. interesting.

While we haven’t eaten as many interesting things ourselves, I can personally relate to number 4: Anti-Pizza. Once upon a time at a Serbian train station, I ordered a pizza only to be served a thin slice of pita bread topped with tomato ketchup and assorted vegatables. At the time I was famished after spending all day on buses and trains, and so I ate the entire thing. I now pray that the gods of travel will have mercy on my soul.

Lucky for us, scenes such as the following in Fes, Morocco, never tempted us.
