Beer and cider are also produced with many local craft brewers welcoming visitors to their micro-breweries to taste their beers and ciders. Add some food to the mix and you have a gourmet’s perfect day out. The area is known for its fresh produce including freshwater salmon, trout and caviar as well as organic fruit and vegetables as well as handmade cheese and preserves. Take a stunning road trip along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. Follow the rugged and windswept coastline past world-class beaches, through tiny fishing villages and towering rainforests before you reach the craggy limestone stacks that rise out of the thundering seas. Take your time on the journey and explore the iconic surf spot of Bells Beach, take a hike through the Otway Rainforest to see thundering waterfalls and sparkling gorges and meet some friendly wildlife including kangaroos and koalas at Tower Hill State Game Reserve.

From the Twelve Apostles you can travel north into the State’s center and discover the spectacular Grampians National Park. Made up of a series of rugged sandstone mountain ranges and wildlife rich forests, the Grampians are one of Victoria’s most popular vacation destinations.
