Travel is a source of inspiration. Being in a new place stirs the emotions and forces the brain to ponder new concepts. So, it’s no surprise that some of our users here at Budget Your Trip have shown us some of their creativity. Sometimes when we travel, we simply refer to our trip as, “that time we went to the beach” or, “summer vacation.” However, every now and then, a trip comes along that deserves something better and bigger. It deserves a real name – a name that stands alone to let the world know that you’re going out there to find something amazing.

Skott and Shawna from Get Up and Globe
Wednesday, October 19th, 2011A few months ago, recently married couple Skott and Shawna left their home in Saskatchewan to travel the world for a year or more. That sounds like a nice little honeymoon to us! They started in England and then ventured over to the mainland where they’ve taken in some terrific sites on their journey, including a 35-day hike along the Camino de Santiago. Where Is Jenny?

After the holidays and with the start of the new year, she’ll leave home to travel indefinitely, “Or until the money runs out”, she says.
