Tips to Save Money

There are more hostels available in Chile than there are in the US and they offer some great cost cutting opportunities. If you want to stay at a chain hotel, you may be able to get a package deal that combines your flight and hotel into one cost. Do keep in mind that you will likely spend less if you don't choose a western chain hotel however. Look into some local options and you will probably get more bang for your buck. Do read some reviews, as the quality is not guaranteed, so you don't want to be disappointed. Also consider traveling in the off season when prices drop dramatically.
