Swimming at Lakes Entrance

There are a range of things to do at Lakes Entrance. To swim at the beach, head over the main footbridge to the inlet in town. Cross the sandhill and you'll arrive at the beach. The Eastern Beach is further along and patrolled on Christmas and Australia Days. You can also rent a Paddle Boat on the food bridge or hire a boat. You can swim in the inlet but watch out for jellyfish. The best swimming time is during high tide.
