Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Efforts have been made to improve public transportation on the island, but most locals still drive at this point.

Akamas Peninsula: This is a lovely area near Paphos that is great to explore on bikes, swim, or hike.

Paphos Harbour and Castle: An excellent place to explore, the castle is a unique set of ruins and the view is stunning.

Curium/Kolossi Castle: These two castles can be visited together in one day. They're surrounded by beautiful scenery and stunning views.

Cypriot Meze: Similar to tapas, meze are small, delicious dishes that come in either meat or fish varieties.

Halloumi: A unique Cyprus cheese made from a combination of cow's and sheep's milk.

Taramosalata: Cod or carp roe is mixed with either bread crumbs or mashed potatoes. Parsley, onion, lemon juice, olive oil and vinegar are added for flavor.
