If you're heading to Cesky Krumlov from Prague, or any nearby town, the best option is the bus. It's more convenient, faster, and cheaper than the trains. There are several bus options including the Student Agency (8 daily buses). The trip takes about three hours.

From Prague, and other nearby cities or towns of Bohemia, getting to Český Krumlov by public bus is easier, faster, and cheaper than by train. The bus will let you off at either Pisek or České Budějovice or its way. This is a cheaper and more comfortable bus option.

When you get to Cesky Krumlov, there are two drop offs. One is north of the castle and the other is the main terminal, located east of the main square. Both stations are about a ten minute walk from the main square. Know where your accommodation is ahead of time so you know which stop to get off at. and which direction to head once you're off.
