Travel Tips for Denmark

Biking Through Denmark

By backpackguru (Our Global Journey) on Nov 16, 2011 in Local Transportation
Denmark is a great country to have a bike in. Drivers are very used to bikers and it is generally very and safe and easy to get around this way. Within most big cities there are lanes specified for bikers along major streets. The country itself is quite flat, making it easier than most for long distance biking. Do watch out for the wind which can be quite strong. If necessary, you can carry your bike on most trains, but you cannot ride your bike on expressways.
