McCoy Indigenous Park a center that helps to rescue local wildlife. Since 1993 they've release more than 2,000 animals into the wild that have been rescued. They take care of any animal that needs attention, from sea birds to raccoons. By visiting, you might see up to 100 creatures which are being given treatment and attention and a new chance at life at the center. The animals at the center come from all over the keys, from the Seven Mile bridge to the Dry Tortugas. You can visit the center from 9am to 5p, and the park is open sunup to sundown. Admission is free, but they take donations and volunteers are welcome, too.
