The Scandinavian country of Denmark is famous for its progressive social views on free speech and environmentalism. Also famous for the creation of legos, don't miss legoland.
Traditional food in Denmark includes pickled herring, fried plaice, and a variety of seafood dishes. Dishes such as frikadeller (meatballs with brown sauce) or stegt flæsk og persillesovs (bacon with cream sauce) are filling and common.

Denmark is a great country to have a bike in. Drivers are very used to bikers and it is generally very and safe and easy to get around this way. Within most big cities there are lanes specified for bikers along major streets. The country itself is quite flat, making it easier than most for long distance biking. Do watch out for the wind which can be quite strong. If necessary, you can carry your bike on most trains, but you cannot ride your bike on expressways.
