Studio Apartments offers large, comfortable apartments that have plenty of natural light and lots of places where you can relax. They come with fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms. These fully furnished apartments give you a great alternative to hostels, and are affordable in price. You'll have all the luxuries of home, including LCD televisions with satellite and have the opportunity to stay in a nice residential neighborhood that is well located in Athens.
These new options gives you everything you could need with more privacy than a hostel. There are a range of options, and some apartments have king sized beds, sofa beds, and additional sleeping area so that entire families can stay comfortably. Still, the price remains comparable to a hostel. The location can't be beat as you will be close to the Acropolis metro station and a nice stroll from the middle of the city. This is the perfect way to experience Athens like a local would. You'll have access to a laundromat and sports bar as well.
After you get to Athens, just come to the office for Athens Studios, which is open twenty four hours as day. You must provide written notification of all cancellations at least 24 hours before you 2 pm check in time. These cancellations must be emailed.
The apartments are in a convenient, residential part of the city and offer a wonderful mix of local life in Athens as well as access to tourist attractions. You'll be only a couple of minutes from the Acropolis, about two minutes on foot from the Plaka, and a five minute walk from the National Gardens. It's also just a fifteen minute subway ride to the National Archaeological Museum and a twenty minute tram ride to the beach.
If you're coming from the airport or Pireas you can take the metro. Change trains at Syntagma Square and get on the red line which you will take for one station. Get off at Acropolis Station and exit the metro onto Marigyianni Street. Walk along it heading away from the Acropolis. When you get to the traffic lights take a right and head downhill along Veikou Street. You're looking for the third building down. It's only a couple minutes walk.
