Bern Backpackers is the most centrally located hostel in Bern. The historic building is part of the city's UNESCO world heritage area. Close to restaurants, bars, clubs museums and theatres. Only 8 minutes walk from the train station. Big common room with a great communal kitchen, laundry, Internet, TV ( English movies every night! ), free tea, free WI-Fi, fuss ball table etc - all available 24hrs
We also have private rooms, single, double, triple etc

If you arrive in the morning before 12 noon, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us until check-in. If you cannot arrive before 22:00 (10 pm) please contact us by e-mail. info@bernbackpackers.ch
From the train station: take tram nr. 9 towards 'Guisanplatz'. Get off at the 2nd stop 'Zytglogge'. Walk into 'Rathausgasse' - you see the hostel on the right side of Rathausgasse (after about 20 meters).
Or if you prefer to walk:
From the train station walk down Spitalgasse and Marktgasse. At the end of Marktgasse is the 'Zytglogge' (clock tower), to its left you see McDonald's. Turn left and walk towards the bridge for 50 meters; turn right into Rathausgasse .
