If you're coming from the San Francisco Airport you can take a shuttle bus. Ask the driver to take you to the Green Tortoise Hostel on Broadway. It should cost $15-$17. You also have the option to take the BART train which will cost a little over five dollars. It takes about half an hour and will require about a mile long walk or you must catch a bus. Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport which will cost $35.
