Surf City Hostel is located only steps from the water in Hermosa Beach, CA one of the safest parts in the Los Angeles area. This is the part of Los Angeles that you have always heard about. Sun, surf, nightlife, and new friends to meet...
With great value dorms or double rooms available, we have something to suit everyone's needs. Our rooms are clean and bright, and you can count on our international staff to assist you with all your needs.
We upgraded all rooms in August 2008 with new beds, madrases bed covers and linens.
Surf City is also close to shopping and cinemas. Local transport is just moments away.
Step outside our door and taste the true L.A. beach scene. We are located on a promenade of local restaurants and hot nightclubs. No need for a taxi when you bunk with us! If you like to stay up late and not want go to bed early this is the place you want to be!
Beach activities abound (did we really have to tell you that?). Surfing, tanning, body boarding, swimming, rollerblading (a favourite here), beach volleyball, and people watching are just a few of the ways to enjoy the California sun. And as an extra bonus, Surf City offers free use of body boards. Boogie, dude!!
We have also partnered with several tour companies so you can get out and explore LA. Anything that you might want to do from Disneyland to Hollywood, we've got you covered.
We sincerely hope that you will consider staying with our family on your next trip to Southern California. Here are some of the other really good things that…
