If you come at the right time you can even experience one of Flamingo's famous parties, complete with free vodka.
Flamingo Hostel is in one of the best locations in the city of Krakow. It's near many bars and restaurants and there are several banks and ATMs nearby as well. You'll find any number of places to grab food or drinks including coffee shops and ice cream or pizza restaurants. It's a diverse area with anything a traveler could possibly want.
The Main Railway Station is very close to the hostel as is the Main bus station. It's possible to walk or there are several trams which will drop you off right by the hostel. The best way to come from the airport is to take bus number 192 and get off at Plac Inwalidow bus stop. You can walk from there in about ten minutes.
