The hostel offers 30 beds in single, double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bath as well as dorms of 4, 6 and 8 beds with shared bathroom.
'Atacama Hostel’ is located in the heart of Providencia, one the most exclusive, safest and central areas in Santiago, it’s the perfect starting point to explore the city! The lively neighbourhood with its bars, restaurants and shopping areas offer a well balanced programme of day and night life. With Manuel Mont and Salvador subway stations so close, moving to and from the hostel is so easy.
The hostel is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Run by the two owners since July 2007 and supported by qualified multilingual staff, it guarantees excellent service 24/7. Our concept is to combine the relaxed atmosphere of a hostel and the quality and privacy of a hotel.
The house of the hostel was entirely renovated in 2007. Preserving its original style, it was converted into a comfortable and warm home for travellers. The heart of the hostel is a spacious living room with cable television, Internet and wi-fi. The house has a large patio with space for BBQ, ping-pong games and chill-out areas with hammocks. The fully equipped kitchen is totally for guest use and the peaceful court invites to enjoy an afternoon far away from the city noise.
To make your stay in Chile funny we also provide you with tourist information, many kinds of tours, and airport transfer service. We have also wash and dry service, and rent of towels.
We are located on Román Díaz #130, one of the safest places in Santiago, at 2 blocks from the metro station (manuel montt), supermarkets and banks.
From the Airport:
You need to take a taxi or transfer to the bus terminal ‘Pajaritos’, there, take the metro (underground) line direction ‘Escuela Militar’. Then, get off at metro station Manuel Montt and walk back 2-3 blocks. Turn in street opposite Copec petrol station and you will be at our street.
From main bus terminal: take the metro (underground) line towards ‘Escuela Militar’. Get off at metro station Manuel Montt and walk back 2 blocks. Turn in street opposite Copec petrol station and you will be at the same street where we are.
