Apartments comprise 3, 4, 5, 6 single bedrooms with furniture and a washbasin.
A kitchen/dining room with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave etc is provided in each apartment as well as a shower room with power shower and separate w.c.
Sundial Court also offers a fully equipped launderette, a TV lounge with satellite TV and 24 hour on site security. Next door to the Barbican Arts Centre with its library, theatres and concert Hall, cinema and art gallery, home to such institutions as the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Guildhall School is also within easy distance of the West End theatres, the Royal Festival Hall and Royal National Theatre on the South Bank, the Globe Theatre, Tates and all the major galleries.
Sundial Court, the School's hall of residence, is located in Chiswell Street, just around the corner from the main School building. Sundial Court has 177 bedrooms in thirty-nine flats, each with either three, four, five or six bedrooms.
Each flat has a communal kitchen with dining area, shower room and separate toilet. Most bedrooms are large enough to accommodate an upright piano and are furnished to a high standard. Work towards providing internet access to all bedrooms is ongoing.
Music students may practice in their bedrooms during permitted hours. Local amenities, including supermarkets, bars, restaurants and sports facilities are all within easy walking distance. Two underground stations are within minutes of the residence. Underneath the accommodation is the Basement, which houses the School Bar, a self-serve laundry, practice rooms and a communal television room.
Sundial Court is conveniently located in Chiswell Street, EC1 with great local amenities such as The Barbican Centre, restaurants, cafes, public houses, shops as well as convenient tube, rail and bus links.
