59 Borough High Street Soutwark , London, England, SE11NE
Just because you’re staying in a hostel doesn’t mean you should be deprived of a good rest. The Oasis is the perfect place for a restful and relaxing visit to this great capital city. Your bed will be in a quiet, cosy, clean and comfortable room, but don’t worry about missing out on any of the fun, because sharing the high street with the Oasis, you'll find our sister hostels - St Christopher’s Inn and the Village - the perfect venues for a pint and a party.

No matter which hostel you’re checking into, reception is at the Village. This is the hub site of the street with our chill-out room featuring a TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and comfy couches – available to everyone staying at our London Bridge hostels. The Village also offers a variety of activites from Walking tours and Ulitimate Frisbee during the day to movie marathons and pub crawls in the evenings.

Mondays:

Karaoke night in Belushi's.

Tuesdays:

80’s and 90’s night - Fancy dress optional!

Wednesdays:

Ultimate frisbee in one of London’s beautiful parks

Followed by yet another Karaoke night!

Thursday:

The Big Lebowski film and bowling night. Drink white russians while watchin a film in our cinema room before heading out to our local bowling club

Fridays & Saturdays:

Big Shiny Disco - great drink deals and fantastic music from our resident DJ’s make the weekend PARTY TIME!!

Other services we provide include free towels and toiletries, music in Belushi’s bar, tours and travel products, games and chill out…

Situated just by Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also sells specialty food, seafood and organic and fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must see list, when visiting England’s capital. Grab a coffee at one of the cosy market side cafes and watch the world go by.

A short 5-minute walk will take you to the Thames River and a scenic Southbank walk past the picturesque Tower Bridge, the stoic London Tower, the infamous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the weirdly wonderful Tate Modern Gallery. Also en route you will come across the National Film Theatre, the London Eye, the Salvador Dali Museum, the London Aquarium and finally Westminster Bridge.

If you do not want to do it all in one go you can always stop off at one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants. The variety is wide enough to suit any palate and budget. One of our favourite pit stops is Giraffe, not far from the London Eye.

There's so much to see and do in London and the odds are that you could spend an entire year here and still not tick everything off your to do list. However, give it your best go and at the end of the day when you are exhausted, you will be happy to come home to St. Christopher's. Our comfortable chill-out room was built with this in mind so that you people could catch up on your journaling or curl up in front of a good movie.
