'The Casa del tio Dach' was built in 1890 in the historical area of Mérida( four blocks to main zocalo) The house belonged to the Paz Ferraez brothers, among them was my grand mother Hernilda (Chachá) the only one who curiously got married. The Paz Ferraez family was dedicated to merchandise groceries for many years and in that time in Mérida had very few stores like theirs, the store was called 'El Negrito'.
