We provide the choice between relaxed and comfortable modern apartment style living and a dorm-style, traditional hostel experience; always with a fun and friendly youth hostel atmosphere. With a large 2 floor traditional hostel, as well as various semi-private apartments that accommodate from 7 to 11 people, you have the choice of relaxing in the peace of a less crowded, shared-apartment or bunking with some of our other guests in a fun, interactive, friendly environment. The choice is yours: The traditional hostel experience or a mellower shared-apartment atmosphere.

Our newly remodeled, common area is open 24 hours and has 8 computers with free internet and wifi, a kitchen, a large chill-out area, a big screen T.V. with a huge selection of movies and tons of sofas and comfortable corners to relax alone or meet up with friends. Sant Jordi Hostel’s is all about fun and friendly atmosphere. In our common room it becomes natural to meet the other guest and find new people to share an adventure with. Our common area is downstairs, away from where people sleep and is open 24 hours. This means our guests always have a choice between a social atmosphere and a good night’s sleep. We also have a large outdoor private patio area that is open during the day, accessible by all guests and includes a fully functional mini-ramp for the more experienced skateboarder. It is perfect for barbeques, laying-out, reading a book or having a skate.

For the party lovers, several nights a week we organize huge group parties where we take all of the guests out on the town to experience the world famous bar and club scene of Barcelona. Our guests come from all over the world and all want the same thing: to have…

We are well located in a popular local area, away from the craziness of the city center and less than 10 minutes walk from the best site in Barcelona, Antoni Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia Cathedral. We are also extremely well connected to all the main tourist attractions of Barcelona. With 2 metro lines, the L2 (Purple) and L5 (Blue), less than 5 minutes walk from the hostel, you can be anywhere in Barcelona in under 15 minutes. We also have 3 night-bus lines that stop within 3 blocks of the hostel so you don’t have to worry about how to get home at night, no matter what the hour.

Our young and friendly staff speaks English and Spanish and will provide you with maps and all the information you will need or want - sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, nightlife and more. As we are travellers like you, we know what you want out of a hostel and will do all we can to make you feel comfortable and make your stay in Barcelona unforgettable.

*Note*

We always do all we can to keep groups together. If you are with other people who have made a separate reservation please send us an email informing us that you would like to be in the same room and we will do our best to accommodate. Sometimes, however, due to high volume we are unable to put everyone – even those in the same booking – all together in the same room. This is very uncommon and we try our hardest to avoid it but it is a possibility.
