You'll find the Circus Hostel on Rosenthaler Platz in Mitte, which is the central neighborhood in Berlin. The building is a short fifteen minute walk from Museum's Island. It's also surrounded by some great restaurants, bars and cafes. Most conveniently, it is accessible by most forms of public transportation, so it is easy to explore all of Berlin with the Circus Hostel serving as your base.
If you're coming from Hauptbahnhof you have to options.
You can take bus 142 from Europaplatz which is in front of the station. Go in the direction of S Storkower Strasse. Exit the bus at Rosenthaler Platz and you'll find the Circus Hostel in the white building at the corner.
If you're arriving at night your best option is to take the train. There are signs directing you to the S-Bahn. Follow the signs and then take an eastbound train to Alexanderplatz. When you get there head down the stairs and catch the U8 line toward Wittenau. After two stops you'll get off at Rosenthaler Platz and see the Circus Hostel on the corner.
If you're coming from the Airport you can cross the street and reach the train station. There's a regional Airport Express that takes passengers to the city center. It usually leaves from platform 3. Get off at Alexanderplatz and head down the stairs to the U-Bahn line U8. Go in the direction of Wittenau for two stops and then get off at Rosenthaler Platz. The Circus Hostel is on the corner.
