The hostel is situated in the middle of Berlin adjacent the Landwehrkanal (waterway). The suburbs Kreuzberg and Mitte meet here. You can either go to the Bergmannkiez with its noble buildings and their stylish courtyards or to Potsdamer Platz – the new Mitte of Berlin, or the multicultural area in SO 36 or to Checkpoint Charly in the Friedrich Street. Here you are in the center of everything by foot or by bike!
From Hauptbahnhof:
Take Bus "M 41" and exit at station "Willy-Brandt-Haus"
Walk 20 metres back in the direction the bus came from.
Turn left in Großbeerenstraße and walk down to the river.
Cross the bridge and on your right hand side you will find your home in Berlin - the Grand Hostel Berlin.
From Airport Schoenefeld:
Take Bus "X7" to Rudow. From there take U-train U7 to station "Möckernbrücke". Takes around about 45 minutes.
From Airport Tegel:
Take X9 or 109 to Jakob-Kaiser-Platz.
From there U-train U7, direction Rudow to station "Möckernbrücke"
Takes round about 35 minutes
At Möckernbrücke take the exit where the flowershop is.
Upstairs turn right and walk approximately 100 metres.
