Our aim is to make you feel welcome on arrival, to give a safe and secure stay and to help you get the most out of your time in London. We are the closest hostel to the London Eye and all the excitement of the south bank (less than 5 mins walk). Westminster, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are also only 5 minutes walk away.

We feature free wi-fi for those who bring there own laptops, lockers, a free simple breakfast of tea / coffee, toast and cereal and free bag storage on early arrival.

Our staff can offer information on London, and the ins and outs of getting around easily and quickly.

In addition, the hostel has its own bar downstairs where we offer a range of good food, drinks, and a selection of games, making for a great night in after a days adventure.

Even better, our location near waterloo station makes it easy to return to after a long night out in London.


The Walrus hostel is located very near to Waterloo Station on the corner of Lower Marsh and Westminster Bridge Rd. Lower Marsh is a pleasant market street with a large variety of inexpensive Cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarket and quirky businesses.

Our location is within a 5 minute walk to the London Eye, Southbank, and Big Ben.

10 minutes for Westminster Abbey, 20 minutes to Trafalgar Square and 30 mins to Tate modern. With easy bus links to Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Oxford St., Covent Garden, etc.

The quickest way to arrive at the Walrus hostel is to come via Lambeth North underground you turn right out of the station, we are only 300 meters from the station,

Our reception hours are from 10:00 am until 23:30.

For exceptional cases we have a buzzer on the side door of the building (Westminster bridge rd.) for emergency use only.
