The Oasis hostel is located:
-----5 minutes to the train station
-----7 minutes to Luxor temple
-----5 seconds to Sofra (famous restaurant in most guide books)
-----5 seconds to Abu el-hassan shazly (a local egyptian restaurant)
-----5 seconds to Juice shop
There are also a number of restaurants, banks, shops, pharmacies and post offices located within a short distance from our hostel, simply ask our staff and they will be happy to advise you and give directions.
For those who want to experience the traditional Egyptian bazaar, our hostel is located very conveniently for a visit.

We can help you to arrange a number of activities to make your journey very exciting:
-West bank tours with air-conditioned minibuses and English-speaking guide
-Bicycle and motorbike hire
-Arrange for you to join a cruise on the Nile to Aswan
-Traditional felucca sailing on the Nile
-Hot-air balloon flight, an unforgettable view of the Nile valley and local archaeological sites.
-We can help you to get a Student Card, which will guarantee discounted entrance fee to many local archaeological sites.
Note:
Our policy is not to have anyone at the main station to harass travellers on arrival.
Unfortunately, most hostels do not follow the same guidelines.
You are bound to be approached by someone trying to get you a “better” accommodation.
I am afraid you'll have to beware of the taxi drivers as well, some unscrupulous drivers will not hesitate to try to take you to a different hotel if they believe that they can make some extra money.
We guarantee that you will come to us as guests and you will leave as friends.
Coming out of the train station, veer to your left and go down Mansheya St for about 200m, turn left up Mohammed Farid Street and you will see our sign Oasis Hotel
It is approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station.
The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport and the bus station which is located near the airport.
