Welcome! Downtown accommodation is a family-run guest house, we offer a home away from home atmosphere with no curfew, free city maps, clean towels and linen, tourist information, arrangement of tours, taxi and rooms are cleaned daily. Beds are extremely comfortable with new and great quality mattresses and 4 rooms facing on the street with double soundproofing windows of double glass offer a good stay with a fairly priced continental breakfast available.
It is a pleasure to host you; we guarantee we’ll our best to make your stay as pleasant as it could be.
Located in the heart of Rome, 3 minutes’ walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
We’re a short walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona and 15 minutes’ walk to the Termini train station.
It is close and well connected to public transport , close to the metro B (Cavour) stop, bus 75 and 84’s stop (next to us) 10 minutes by bus to the Vatican city, restaurants, bar, supermarket , laundry service , post office and museums nearby.
From Termini train station: find main exit Piazza Cinquecento, go out and turn left, you will find Via: Cavour after about 15 minutes’ walk, we are at number 275, push button 2 and you’ll find us on the first floor.
Taxi from the Termini station, the price is about 10-12 Euros. From Termini train station, exit Piazza Cinquecenton; Bus 75 and Bus 84 pass by Via Cavour (except holidays and Sunday), after 4 stops you get off. Alternatively, take Metro line B in the direction of Laurentina, and after 1 stop get off at Cavour, then walk 4 minutes.
How to reach Downtown Accommodation from Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci Airport):
There are trains to Termini train station that takes 30 minutes - the price is 14 Euros per person. After arriving at Termini train station, walk along platform n. 25, after 8 minutes, you will find the Piazza Cinquecento exit; go out and turn left, you will find Via Cavour after a 15 minute walk, we are at number 275; push button 2, we are on the first floor.
How to reach Downtown Accommodation from Ciampino Airport:
You can take a direct Shuttle Bus, Schiaffini or Terravision from Ciampino Airport to Termini train station - it takes about 40 minutes.
