Established in 1993, the Milano Tourist Rest hotel is an oasis of calm in the heart of the historical city of Anuradhapura and is the perfect base from which to explore the region.
It has spacious, comfortable rooms with all the latest facilities including air conditioning and satellite television.
The Hotel has both an outdoor and indoor restaurant which both serve fabulous western/ Eastern/Chinese and has its own well stocked bar, mini library, roof top terrace/ beer garden where guests can enjoy a drink and chill out after a busy day exploring the historical area.
Milano Tourist Rest is situated in the heart of Anuradhapura within close proximity to many of the regions prime tourist attractions. The famous ruins are just 2 kilometers away while Sri maha Bodhi, Mihintale, Isurumuniya and other areas of interest are also close to the Hostel.
By Train/Bus:
There are two railway stations and two bus stations at Anuradhapura city and we are a short distance away from all four of these stations.
By car from the Airport:
Go along the air port road until you reach a place called Kada Panaha near the General Hospital Anuradhapura. Opposite Kada Panaha stay in the middle lane and follow the sign for the 'Milano Tourist Rest. After approximately 100 meters away you will reach us at Milano Tourist Rest.
