La Casa del Abuelo is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, only 50mts from the waterfall and the volcanic thermal baths, and just few blocks away from downtown. We are in a walking distance from all the city of Baños attractions.

Baños location is unique. The town is known as a gateway to the jungle, located between the Andes and the rainforest, it offers easy access to high mountains and volcanoes, such as Chimborazo, Cotopaxi and Quilotoa, and easy access to the Amazon jungle. It is also settled between the Sangay national park, and the Llanganates national park. Baños lays in the foothill of the giant active volcano Tungurahua, which, sometimes, can be seen from town expelling columns of smoke at day time and lava at night.
