Situated right in the middle of the centre of Kristiansand. You can not get a better location as we are within 150 meters walking distance to the ferry, train station, bus station and shopping street. Big parking lot with alot of available spaces just outside the hotel.
The main local attractions which are within 10 minute walking distance is:
* The fish market
* The town square
* Odderøya (Europas biggest canon)
* The old part of town, wooden houses, constructed over 100 years ago
* City beach
* Markens, shopping street
* Sandens Senter; shopping centre
* Baneheia; beautiful touring area
* Strandpromenaden; the marina area
We are located right in the city centre and are very easy to find. There are a few ways you may reach us. From Denmark you can catch a boat from the port in Hirtshals. We are a 5 minute walk from the port, behind the train station. See walking directions below.
Also if you come overland by train, from Kristianstand station:
1. Head south toward Route 471/Henrik Wergelands gate 62 m
2. Continue straight onto Route 471/Henrik Wergelands gate 64 m
3. Turn left at Route 471/Vestre Strandgate 0.2 km
4. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit and stay on Route 471/Vestre Strandgate
Destination will be on the right 0.1 km
Negatives: The bathroom wasn't clean enough and hot water limited on a short shower.
Negatives: Too much noises !!! This hotel need some decorations and warm.
