Our basic purpose is to offer you a clean room in a safe and friendly environment...
On arrival, we have a free city map for you and we will answer all questions you might have concerning visiting the city and its surroundings and also how to travel to Uxmal, Chitzen Itza, Celestun, Synotes, Hacienda's etc.
We keep your luggage after check-out for free until 6 PM
Downstairs is a Jacuzzi, common area, and a hang mat-place if you want to relax. There is a fridge available to store your drinks or food.
Car rental can also be organized for you, 500 pesos a day with air-conditioning.
If you need an Airport pick up, ask us before to check availability and confirm 1 day before check-in with your flight number and time of arrival (100 pesos)
Our Guesthouse is located in the old historic centre of Merida. It is only two blocks away from the Ado Came bus station and a short walk to the city centre...
Merida Airport is about 10 minutes by car/bus/taxi.
Coming from the airport:
Take direction Merida, Avenida Itzaes, after passing Super-Market Chedraui first lights to the right, pass church San Sebastian (on your right),then 2nd left Calle 68, 100 meters further on the left is our property, terracotta colour with big white letters 'Posada Casa Chalia'
Coming to Merida by ADO bus: (be sure you go to MERIDA CAME)
When you arrive at the bus terminal it's very close to the Guesthouse, only 2 streets and a 5 minute walk. Don't take a taxi or you may end up paying 50 pesos for a 2 minutes taxi ride
Look for number 68, go to the right and one street further is our Guesthouse..
