Byron Bay YHA is located right in the centre of this popular seaside town and only metres to some of Australia's top surf beaches.
Hire a surfboard, bike or free bodyboard from the hostel and check out Byron Bay's unspoilt beaches and great cycling trails or watch the sun set over Australia's eastern-most point. If that's not enough, there is snorkelling, kayaking, hang-gliding, rainforest tours, whale watching, and a busy nightlife scene.
Back at the YHA you can laze by the solar heated swimming pool, or in one of our hammocks. On Monday's take a guided walk to the lighthouse, enjoy a movie and free popcorn on Tuesday, Friday is BBQ night and end the week with pizza on a Sunday . All rooms have fans and large decks.

Located in the centre of Byron, it is a great starting point for enjoying the best activities Byron has to offer including: Bushwalking/Hiking, Canoeing/Kayaking, Cycling, Snorkeling, Surfing, Whale/Dolphin Watching and the Beach.
It is also a great place to experience Byrons famous nightlife with Live music, 150 meters from the hostel to the best club and only 200 meters to the best pub.
Train: 200 metres to station. Daily XPT train to/from Sydney and Brisbane.
Bus: 150 metres to stop. Daily services to/from Sydney and Brisbane.
Plane: 34km to Ballina Airport or 95km to Coolangatta Airport.
Walking from the bus station: the hostel is about 150m from the stop. Walk towards Woolworths and turn left onto Carlyle street., we're on the next corner.
