It's a nice facility that is affordable enough that most travelers can enjoy it. The bed and breakfast is is located in Leidse Square along the beautiful and famous canals of Amsterdam. The views are wonderful and the rooms have a lot of natural light and a historic and traditional vibe. There are bathrooms which are shared between two bedrooms and have both a bathtub and a shower. The rooms are all non smoking and they remain very quiet despite being in the midst of all of the action in the city of Amsterdam.
The bed and breakfast is only a minute's walk from the city's famous historic center and is amidst all of the beautiful canals. You can easily soak up the atmosphere of the city as bicyclists peddle by and boats line the water.
The location by Leidse square is a perfect base for exploring the city of Amsterdam. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby and most of the area's top museums are not far away either. It's only a short walk to the Rijksmuseum and the popular Van Gogh Museum is easily accessible as well. It's also close to the concert hall. Also nearby is the famous Hard Rock Cafe of Amsterdam. This popular restaurant is only a short one hundred meters away and is a must visit for many guests.
Alexander Guestrooms is found by Leidse Square. If you're at the Central Station you can take either tram number 1, 2, or 5. Get off at the Leidseplein stop and from there it's only a one hundred and fifty meter walk. If you're at the Schiphol Airport then your best option is to take bus 197 until you get to the Leidseplein stop.
