The “Romedihof Backpacker Hostel” has nine sleeping rooms of various sizes, each with their own individual character and unique historical charm. The four bathrooms have been completely rebuilt with modern facilities. The lounge is equipped with a tiled stove, television, games, books and a free internet access. Adjacent to the lounge you will find a shared kitchen.
The Romedihof is located at Brennbichl by Karrosten near the city of Imst.
It is within close proximity to various ski areas, climbing crags, climbing gyms,
Cycle & mountain tracks...Within 40 km you will find around 15 climbing crags,
5 rope routes and 6 ski areas. The Romedihof is also the ideal base for motor cycle tours, as you can reach many mountain passes within one day.
Approximately 50 meters from the Romedihof you will find two cycle tracks crossing. One is the Inntal Valley cycle track, traveling from each to west, whilst the second track winds its way through the Gurgltal Valley, from Nassereith to Imst. At this point you will also find the entrance to the white rafting tour through the Inn canyon.
Passing only a few meters above the Romedihof you will also find the
long distance tracks – “The Jakobsweg” and the antiquely roman street
“Via Claudia Augusta”.

By Car:
If you are coming from the motorway, take exit nr. 132 "Imst - Pitztal", follow the street and on the first possibility turn right. You reach the Pitztal roundabout; there you take the second exit (direction railway station). After about 50 m go right and you will see the chapel which is right next to the Romedihof.
If you are not coming on the motorway, go direction "Pitztal" until you get to the Pitztal roundabout, there you take the second exit (direction railway station). After about 50 m go right and you will see the chapel which is right next to the Romedihof.
By Bike:
At the crossing from the "Inntal Biketrail" and the "Gurgltal Biketrail" drive direction to Imst, after 100 m you reach the Rafting Entry Place, there turn right and follow up the street until you see a mechanic. The Romedihof is the big house right above the mechanic.
Train:
Leave the train at the "Imst - Pitztal" station, then follow the street direction Imst; cross the bridge and follow up the street (not the bike trail) until you see the mechanic. The Romedihof is the big house right above the mechanic.
