Free City Circle Tram and 96 tram to the beach – The free tram goes from right outside Home. It does a lap of the City Centre so you are never far away from anything. The 96 will take you directly to St Kilda beach and the legendary Home Travellers Motel, our sister hostel!
Brunswick Street – Definately one of the trendiest areas of Melbourne. Renowned for its vintage shops and an abundance of bars, cafes and clubs! Without doubt this is the best night out in Melbourne. This is where the cool kids hang out so bring you wallet and prepare to do damage!
Gardens – If you thought city life meant hustle and bustle with nowhere to relax, think again. Home is sandwiched between the beautiful Carlton and Fitzroy gardens. Chill out with a book, take a picnic hamper and have an enjoyable glass of Goon! Alternatively take our cricket set or football and make enemies with everyone around you!
Queen Victoria Market – Take a stroll to the famous Victoria markets or if you are feeling lazy jump on the free tram – its right outside! If it’s food and souvenirs you are after welcome to heaven! With over 50 fruit and veg stores alone prices are competitive and you can do a weekly shop for next to nothing!
