Perhaps you are looking for a snack on the run, then why not stop past our coffee shop, where one of our friendly staff can whip you up one of their fresh baguettes or toasted sandwiches or why not indulge in some pastries and fresh coffee or choose from our wide range of drinks and snacks.



Hostel 639 keeps its guests entertained; Thursday nights are Karaoke night, there are weekly Pool competitions and a variety of arcade games as well as table tennis to keep you going. Or if that's not your scene chill out in the TV room where you can pick from 100's of free movie titles or maybe it's the news in your country you wanted to watch then no problem we have Sky TV so you wont miss any of the action from around the world. For the convenience of guest we have a Call Shop offering the lowest international rates in the UK as well as internet facilities.


Portobello Road is home to the famous Notting Hill Market and Antiques Market. You can find anything from shoes and clothing to fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as the street markets Portobello Road has its own share of Bars, Cafés, Restaurants and shops making this one of the most charming parts of London.

Hostel 639 is easily located opposite the Kensal Green tube and the number 18 bus stops right out the front. A 10 minute walk down the road you are at Sainsbury's supermarket and a further 10 minutes from there you are at Portobello Road .
