Come to visit the emblematic part of Barcelona which is normally kept out of the tourist reach, where the locals prefer to go to in their leisure time.
Diagonal Hostel is situated right in the centre of a lovely neighbourhood. Very conveniently located and well connected to the beach, the city centre, the malls, and all the typical tourist areas with fast food restaurants (after all, we are tourists). Around the hostel area you will find great Mediterranean cuisine at great restaurants, go shopping for the local trends at the nearby malls, have drinks at amazing pubs, and enjoy the nightlife, all while surrounded by locals speaking Spanish and Catalan. You might want to stay in Barcelona after you discover why those that live here love it.
Diagonal Home is located at one of the most elegant, charismatic and beautiful streets of Barcelona 'Avinguda Diagonal' on the place call 'Eixample'. It's surrounded by hundred-year-old buildings and one of the most principal cultural and fun offers of the city.
From the hostel you have access to a high range of good restaurants, pubs and shops. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
- From El Prat Airport, terminal 1 (BCN T1):
Take the Aerobus and get off at Plaça Espanya. There, take the bus number 27 to 'Diagonal with Muntaner' stop.
- From El Prat Airport, terminal 2 (BCN T2): you can take the Aerobus and get off at Plaça Espanya and there take the BUS number 27 to the stop 'Diagonal with Muntaner'.Or take the METRO LINE 5 (blue) direction 'Vall D'Hebron' and get off in Hospital Clinic, take Villaroel street, take to the left and go straight up until you find Diagonal street.
- From Girona Airport:
Take the bus to 'Barcelona Station Nord'. When you are there, take the Metro Line 1 (red) towards Fondo, in 'Sagrera Station', change to Line 5 (blue) towards 'Cornella Centre' and get off at Hospital Clinic Station.
- From 'Station Nord' take the bus number 6 to 'Diagonal with Muntaner' stop.
