Princes Gardens is a wonderful, affordable accommodation option in London, England. It's a larger facility with 584 single rooms and 24 twin student study bedrooms. These rooms have washbasins and many of the rooms offer a pleasant view of the gardens. Many rooms have shared showers and bathroom facilities. Most often these facilities are shared among three different rooms.
Every guest is given a full English breakfast included in the cost of their bed. It's available in the main college dining room area and there are regular snacks and light meals available for purchase over the course of the day.
The residence offers a wonderful budget place to stay that has a youthful and social atmosphere. It's one of the best places for young students to stay in London and you are likely to meet travelers and students from around the world. The international feel makes it appealing as in interesting place to base yourself not just to explore London, but also to have a multicultural experience which you may not get at other more traditional hotels.
The location of the South Kensington campus, where you will find the Prince's Gardens Halls of Residences, is only a brief stroll from Harrods and Hyde Park. It's also in very close proximity to major London sights such as the Royal Albert Hall among others.
If you're coming from the South Kensington tube station you can go east on Pelham Street in the direction of Thurloe Square for less than half a kilometer. Turn on the second left which will be Brompton Road and then take the right when you see Thurloe Pl. Make a U-turn after you reach Brompton Square and then turn right onto Exhibition Road. Take the right onto Imperial College Road and then turn left onto Princes Gate Mews.
