Hostel One Paralelo is in a building that was specifically designed to be a hostel. For this reason the layout and flow of the building is ideal to meet the needs of travelers. The beds are comfortable with thick and soft mattresses, and the showers offer hot water all day long. The rooms are spacious and bright with large windows letting in natural light. There's free internet throughout the building and public computers that you can use that are fast and efficient. The kitchen is fully equipped and is adjacent to a bright patio where you can enjoy any home cooked meal you may prepare. There's also a jacuzzi and a barbeque that makes for a social setting where you can relax with fellow travelers. If you're a sports fan, there's a television where you can watch any games that are on, otherwise there are dvds available to watch as well.
The part of the hotel that truly makes it special is the staff. There's a nice mix of locals and travelers so they are well informed on the area and any needs you may have as a travelers.
The earliest you can check in is at nine in the morning. The latest you can check in is at midnight, but with advanced notification arrangements can be made to accommodate you.
This hotel is very centrally located and conveniently close to a metros station. It's well connected to all of the main metro lines and offers direct bus access to some of Barcelona's most popular beaches.
To reach the hotel take the metro to Parallel Metro Station. Get off and walk toward Plaza d'Espanya; When you reach the third street to your left, which should be Calle Salva' you should see number 62.
