49 Becklow Rd Shepherds Bush , London, England, W129ER
On the Hammersmith and City tube line we are close to Westfield Shopping Mall – the largest shopping mall in Europe. Also nearby are the famous music venue The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire as well as the BBC TV studios and Earls Court exhibition district.

For more than 100 years the building has been many things to many people. First opened to the public in 1892 it was the first pub to greet those travelling from the counties to the capitals West. It was a friendly, welcoming place for locals and newcomers alike and remains that to this day. This idea is the cornerstone of The Monkeys in the Trees hostel.

An open plan, laid back, family orientated bar and hostel featuring comfortable leather sofas, a sunny garden and friendly staff that will welcome you and welcome you back.

A century has passed and the basic ideals of the building stay the same - the notion of a ‘Public House’. An establishment that is as comfortable and relaxing as your own home but open to the public. A place to celebrate commiserates, relax and rejuvenate.

Off Uxbridge Road in Shepherds Bush. 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes bus from Shepherds Bush Market Tube.

Take the Hammersmith and City tube line to Shepherds Bush Market. Exit the station and cross over Uxbridge Road to bus stop Q. Take either the 207, 260 or 283 bus (runs every 3-7 minutes) and disembark at Wormholt Road bus stop LK outside the Princess Victoria public house. On the corner of Becklow Road is the Princess Victoria public house. We are 120 yards down Becklow Road on the left hand side.
