A restaurant full of scrumptious food thanks to our consultant chef, a 30-year experienced French chef and our head chef who has come to The Mad Monkey from one of Cambodia’s best five star hotels. As a result our food is to die for and you will find our dining experience to offer an excellent service in a casual laid back dining environment.
Our approach to wine is simple, we like to drink it. As a result we have chosen a selection of 20 leading red and white wines from every major wine producing country. Our wines our inexpensive, we have amazing reds and whites available by the glass and by the bottle.
Our hostel offers two bars for you to enjoy our salacious cocktail list and drinks menu. The first bar is on the ground floor next to the restaurant, the second is a roof top terrace bar ideally positioned to provide the best sunset bar experience in Phnom Penh.
Our bar staff our bar proffesionals, they know their cocktails and how to speak to people so our bars are always popular and an excellent place to hang out with travellers staying at the hostel or the large expatriate community that drop in to hang out at the bar.
As an international standards based hostel, all of our rooms are lockable, you have locks on your windows, and a clear escape route in case of fire or smoke.
