Kuta is the best known tourist resort area on the island of Bali in Indonesia. It's a popular party and surfing destination that has long been part of the Southeast Asian backpacking route. The city has an impressive five kilometer long sandy beach that has plenty of sunbathers, surfers, and vendors. Kuta continues to develop in a bit of a haphazard and unplanned way. There is plenty of accommodation options for all budgets, but if you're going to be in town during the peak season then it is essential that you make reservations in advance.

At this hostel you can start every day with an Indonesian and western style breakfast. Then there are any number of activities that you can enjoy. These include surfing lessons, scuba diving, horseback riding, or island tours. There's an on-site travel agent that can make any arrangements that you might need. If you want to have a more relaxing day, you can enjoy a massage at the spa or take a swim in the pool. There's also a nice roof-top garden terrace where many guests enjoy relaxing. Just a short walk away is the beach, where you can relax or take a swim.

The hostel is about 35 minutes from the airport and is very close to Echo Beach. It's surrounded by paddy fields and there are towering volcanoes that make for nice views.

It is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay that is affordable for all types of travellers. After a busy day exploring the area, if you want to come back to a place that feels like home, then this is the place for you. The hostel has a nice combination of traditional elements and modern comforts. There's a common area where many guests enjoy relaxing with free wi-fi, watching cable television, or watching a movie. There are also board games available. It's the perfect space to meet other travellers and make some new friends. There's a simple but free breakfast available every morning and tea and coffee are also available throughout the day.

Bali Caps is another popular hostel that is located about a fifteen minute drive from Kuta Beach. The bus station is a couple of minutes away and there are many taxis in the area that you can find. This is a good place to stay if you have a flight out of town, because they offer transportation to the airport. It's also possible to rent motorbikes, which can make transportation a little easier. It's a little removed from all of the action, so it is possible to get a good night's sleep. If you want to go out on the town and party, they offer a shuttle to Legian Party Lane, which is about a fifteen minute drive away.

The hostel is spread between three floors that are all served by an elevator. There is a good security system and every room has secure key card access. There are also lockers available for guests.

The hostel has six and eight bed dorms. The rooms are simple but a good value. If you're on a tight budget and want to save some money, then this is a good place to stay. The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is nice.
