Osaru-No Oyado, or Monkey's Inn, is a favorite hostel in Okinawa. It's a cozy and comfortable place to stay in Naha, Okinawa. It's conveniently located close to the Tomarin ferry terminal, which is a port that offers transportation to the nearby Kerama Islands. These islands are a small archipelago about forty kilometers west of Naha. They can be reached in about an hour and offer a wonderful get away from the city. Monkey's Inn is the perfect place to base yourself if you're hoping to go to these beautiful islands and enjoy their white sand beaches and emerald blue water.

The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere and it will feel like you're staying with an old friend. It's easy to meet other travelers here and there's a common area on the first floor where it's fun to hang out. The staff are great as well, but their English is limited. Okinawa Soro House is another popular hostel in Okinawa. It's located in the city of Naha and is a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay. It's about a minute's walk from Miebashi Station. Kokusai Street, which is a popular shopping area, is just a five minute walk away. The Tomarin ferry terminal is also just a five minute walk away. In the surrounding area you'll find many grocery stores, car rental places, drug stores, and a post office. There are also a lot of local restaurants in the surrounding area.

The hostel has a lot to offer guests. There's a large common area and living room that has free internet access. There's also a full kitchen which guests can use. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee and tea machines and there are laundry facilities available for guests as well.

The hostel has female only and male only dorms. There are also female only capsule dorms, private single rooms, and private twin rooms. All of the rooms are air conditioned, but the air conditioning is only run at night.

Myplace Guest House is another budget option for visitors to Okinawa. It is a little removed from the city center but is close to the port. There aren't a lot of amenities in the immediate area but the convenience of being near the ferry launch is very helpful and there is a small grocery store nearby. There's a small but nice common room and the hostel has wi-fi throughout. The staff are friendly and helpful and they keep the hostel very clean. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning keeps the rooms a comfortable temperature. If you're looking for a relaxed and mellow atmosphere where it's possible to meet other guests, then this is a good option.
