Places to Stay in Vail for Families

Vail is a popular family destination year round. Obviously the most popular season to visit is during the winter ski season, but the town is a fun and beautiful place to visit during the summer months as well. The town is very walkable, but if you choose to stay a bit outside of the town, there are plenty of shuttles available as well.

AirBnB’s for a Family Trip to Charleston

With a variety of neighborhoods, it can sometimes be a challenge to figure out which part of Charleston is the best place to stay if you're traveling with kids or your entire family. A number of fantastic AirBnB's can be found in this city at a variety of different prices, levels of luxury, sizes, and locations. By staying downtown you're within walking distance to everything, but the prices are also higher. Of course, you can also stay near the beach. Or, somewhere in between might be the best option if you're on a budget.

Road Trip: Maine to Nova Scotia

Summer vacation, at least for our family, is synonymous with road trips. We, Bryan and Laurie, the founders of Budget Your Trip, decided it was time to step away for a couple of weeks and take the newest member of the family (our four month old daughter) on a driving adventure from Boston to Nova Scotia. Yes, it's quite a long drive. And yes, everyone says it's a challenge to travel with a baby. But we went anyway, because traveling is in our blood, and also because we're a little crazy. To add to the reasons, believe it or not, this was our first time in Canada. We've trekked through the Sahara and the Gobi, swam in the Mekong and the Nile, but we have never visited our friendly neighbors to the North. Well, it was time to fix that!
