Check out these top 10 things\nto do in Manchester that won\u2019t cost you a thing\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Manchester\nArt Gallery<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Situated in the heart of the city is the wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/manchesterartgallery.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Manchester Art Gallery.<\/a> Here you can discover six centuries worth of costumes, art, ceramics, furniture and more. The gallery itself is housed in a beautiful neo-classical Grade I listed building designed by Charles Barr and features work from local artists including impressionist painter, Wynford Dewhurst. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fletcher\nMoss Park &amp; Botanical Gardens<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a warm summer\u2019s day, there\u2019s no better\nway to spend a few hours in the city than wandering around the magnificent\nFletcher Moss Park and Botanical Gardens. The building itself is a stunning Victorian neo-gothic\narchitectural masterpiece, so even if rare books aren\u2019t your thing, the\nbuilding is well-worth checking out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Manchester\nCathedral<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Manchester\nCathedral has an interesting history. Previously damaged by bombing during the\nSecond World War, it took over two decades for repairs to be completed.\nUnfortunately, many of the Victorian stained-glass windows were destroyed, but\nhave been gradually replaced over the years with new designs.
