A test of both physical and mental strength, this is a serious\nchallenge through an incredibly hostile environment, and you\u2019ll need to be\nprepared for altitude sickness. Nepal is home to 8 of the highest peaks above 8,000m<\/strong> on Earth. It has 1,310 known\npeaks rising above 6,000 meters<\/strong>, so\nit\u2019s naturally a magnet for peak climbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of these, 238 peaks are permitted by the government for peak\nclimbing. Nepal offers expeditions to several peaks including Mt.
