The common areas are comfortable and cozy, and provide plenty of entertainment. Musical instruments lie around for everyone to use. Dorm bunks have lockers large enough for backpacks, and have ensuite bathrooms. Private rooms also have ensuite bathrooms. Various sizes are available, including a larger family-sized room.
The spacious courtyard is a great place to relax and meet other travelers. The rooftop terrace even adds to the common space, and is a nice spot to socialize. The onsite restaurant and bar provides good food at reasonable prices, and drinks are served as well.

This self-proclaimed "Italian style hostel" (whatever that means) is located near shops, restaurants, the University, and the waterfront. The staff does a lot to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, including arranging activities for guests to help everyone mingle and socialize.
Apparently, the "Italian" style comes from some of the decorative style of the building. Private rooms are decorated in a nice, comfortable European fashion. Rooms are of various sizes, with ensuite bathrooms, and some even have balconies.
Dorm bunks are also available. Bunks have outlets and reading lights. Key-card access keeps everything secure.
The onsite restaurant and bar provides meals and drinks for guests, which can be enjoyed in the courtyard (Italian-style?) or in the other common areas. TVs, laundry, luggage storage, and free Wi-Fi are also on the list of benefits to guests.
Guests leaving reviews are generally consistent as to give high marks for this hostel, but there are some negative aspects. The beds are not as comfortable as they could be, and the noise can be a bit much. But the staff is friendly and the location is generally thought be very good.
