No.35 Minzu Road Siming District , Xiamen China
This self-proclaimed "Italian style hostel" (whatever that means) is located near shops, restaurants, the University, and the waterfront. The staff does a lot to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, including arranging activities for guests to help everyone mingle and socialize.

Apparently, the "Italian" style comes from some of the decorative style of the building. Private rooms are decorated in a nice, comfortable European fashion. Rooms are of various sizes, with ensuite bathrooms, and some even have balconies.

Dorm bunks are also available. Bunks have outlets and reading lights. Key-card access keeps everything secure.

Guests leaving reviews are generally consistent as to give high marks for this hostel, but there are some negative aspects. The beds are not as comfortable as they could be, and the noise can be a bit much. But the staff is friendly and the location is generally thought be very good.
