Gros Horloge is an astronomical clock housed in a Renaissance archway in Rouen's historic center. Dating back to the 14th century, it is one of the oldest working clocks in France. Visitors can admire its intricate design, including a mechanism that displays the day of the week, lunar phases, and zodiac signs. The archway itself is a fine example of medieval architecture and is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures. Guided tours offer insights into the clock's history and operation, making it a must-visit attraction in Rouen.
